THE BEAUTY OF DILIGENCE

To be diligent is to take careful oriented steps in all your undertakings. A diligent person is a person that is ready to go the extra mile, prepared and ready to face all odds in the pursuit of his goal. He is not a quitter, he does not take failure as final, and he is always looking forward and ready to try again and improve on him/herself to be a better person.
  A diligent person will not stand before mean men because he will not settle for mediocrity, he sits among the great. The hands of the diligent makes riches. A diligent peeson invest in knowledge, he constantly updates himself, he possesses the currencies of life.
  DILIGENCE IS AN INVALUABLE ASSET AND MUST REFLECT IN EVERY AREA OF ONE'S LIFE.

DON'T TRADE YOUR HAPPINESS

One of the most important keys to a better life is to keep yourself happy, rather than living to please everybody else. It's easy to take on a false sense of responsibility, thinkinf that your it is our job to keep everybody happy, to fix this person, to resue that person, or to sove another person's problem. It's a good thing that you want to help others, but don't throw away your happiness because you want to please others. You should not take responsibility for someone eles's poor choices. If you do, before long, that person will be controlling you and manipulating you.
The truth is, some people don't really want to be helped; they don't want to change. They like the attention their perpetual dilemmas bring to them. Sometimes, the best you can do for somebody like that is not to help them. Learn to understand that you are not responsible for everybody else's happiness. You don't need to be harsh or uncaring, but allowing them to always call you at odd hours of the day and night to dump their problems on you is not fair to yourself.
I am not talking about being selfish or self-centered, we should be givers. But there is a big diffrence between giving and allowing sombody to control you and make you feel guilty until you do what they want. If you are in a relationship and because your spouse choose to be sad does not mean you have to be sad, something is wrong and unbalanced. If you have been living to please everybody else, or constantly trying to fix everything, rid yourself of that false sense of responsibility. Yes reach out to others. Yes be kind and compassionate. But make sure that you are keeping yourself happy. After God, you are your first priority,followed by your family,relationship. Don't trade your happiness, you owe it to yourself.

DON'T BE INSENSITIVE

Most of us only tend to care about ourselves and never care about the feelings of others. Make people your priority, people are your greatest resources,so take time to know and care about them. Try to be responsive in conversations,never appear preoccupied with self or in a hurry. Stop talking too much and develop the act of listening, the words you say could lift a person that is down up. Quit thinking of what to say next and begin to hear not only what they say but how they feel, cause your intrest in every insignificant matter will demonstrate your sensitivity.
Life is the most persistent, and the urgent question is "What are we doing for others? Dr Martin Luther King Jnr. It could be an opportunity you have to motivate someone as you may be a beneficiary at the end.
The world's famous and great achievers were motivated by people and the life of others before they could attain and maintain wealth and fame. Henry Ford, who contributed enormously to the worlds Automobile company, was motivated by Thomas Edison, an entrepreneur of his time. Barrack Hussein Obama, was motivated by a host of people,notable amongst them was Dr.Martin Luther King Jnr, who also in his worlds saw a dream of a black man becoming American president. Obama eventually actualized that dream. Treat people right,respect their feelings and never neglect anyone.

TIME FOR CHANGE( NIGERIA @53)

Most times, we ask ourselves if we can actually get away from our past or something we did in the past and the answer to that is YES. It's a natural thing for us to to feel guilty,shame and blame ourselves for what we did in the past and keep repeating it again and again.
We keep repeating a mistake we made cause we feel that we cant be forgiven or we can't get out of it. Letting go of your past is not is not some easy cause cause guilt and shame feel up our hearts and something keep saying you can't be forgiven, you can't get out of the mistake you made cause you keep making  the same mistake, thats the voice if the accusser. But you can keep that voice quiet by saying to yourself, i know i made a mistake, i know i can be forgiven, yes am still growing and striving towards perfection,but i will be a better me, when i replace a bad attitude of mine with a good attitude.
Getting away from a repeated mistake is about replacing those bad habits with a good one. Learn to control your anger, learn to say a nice words instead of a harsh word, learn to appreciate the little effort you make to take a positive step you take in changing who you are, cause only you can decide or change those bad stuffs you do, or say. Change your attitude and charachter and you will change who you are to who you ought to be.
If our leaders will learn to change their attitudes and solve the citizen problem,learn from their mistakes and get away from it,am sure the world will be a better place....HAPPY INDEPENDENCE TO MY COUNTRY NIGERIA.

NIGERIA @ 53( A GREAT NATION IN THE MAKING)

When i sing the National Anthem,the verse that strike my heart with pain is "THE LABOUR OF OUR HEROS PAST,SHALL NEVER BE IN VAIN". I ask myselve if our heros are really happy in their graves or if they are actually crying.
The richest place in the world is not the oil wells at the Middle East,nor the Gold mine in South Africa,but the richest place in the world is the cemeteries, cause thats where unfulfilled dreams are buried,great writers,businessmen,great doctors,all buried in the grave and can never be accomplised.Am writing this with tears and pain in my heart cause it's like the labours of our heros is actually in vain but thats not true. Look at what's going on at the northern part of Nigeria,where talents and great men are just taken away by those who claim they are the owners of the country.
A musician sang, "All we need is one love" and that true. I still belive in the labours of our heros past,i still belive that this sleeping giant called Nigeria which is my country will wake up from such deep sleep and take a great step forward. Istill belive that there is no place like Nigeria with so much gift and Blessing. Nigeria is so fertile not only on land but even the roof of a building, grows plants. I don't belive Nigeria is a failed country,i belive that the leadership of those in power have failed the country.
The Education sector have been left to rot,and that's where the leaders of tommorow are being trained, but those in power have their own children studying in other countries that have a good educational system. They keep hosting there political parties at diffrent venues, making plans for future elections but fail to make plans for the future of the educational sector. I still belive in this great Nation,no matter what's been happening, I love my country.
The fact that they failed does not mean that they will not succeed, except if the leaders fails to learn from their mistakes.
This nation is truely a great nation, cause we are blessed with great musicians such as King Sunny Ade,2face idibia,M.I,Onyeka,Tiwa Savage etc,blessed with great sports man and woman,blessed with great writers and poets,blessed with good atmosphere natural resources and human resources,Scholars and so many that i have even lost counts.
It only takes love and unity to make a great nation,but when it's lacking the country begins to fail. The state of insecurity makes us to see the need for love and unity not HATE. We are ONE NIGERIA, the country belongs to us and no one else. A little act of love to those in the streets,to your co-workers,to your neighbour,will bering about love and unity,why can't we look out for each other. Love is a contineous excersise and not something that will be done today and tommorow will be thrown away. Love is a habit you build,an attitude you develop that leads to unity.. As we celebrate "THE LABOURS OF OUR HEROS PAST", lets develop the right attitude towards our fellow citizens and non-citizens, lets be a patriotic people and learn to treat everyone right and make this country a better place.....HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY TO NIGERIA, A GREAT NATION. I LOVE MY COUNTRY.

BRING OUT THE BEST IN PEOPLE

Life is a cruel wife,although she do you wrong you have to treat her right. This should be how we should act towards people. Most times,we find ourselves getting into trouble with people not that it can't be avoided but because we fail to ignore certain things. Negative people tend to be troublesome but you being an exceptional person should apply a forgiveness tactics to them. Learn to understand that no human is perfect but learning to accept anothers imperfection,gives you a place higher than the other.
Bringing out the best in people is about treating them right not because they are nice to you but because you are nice.Learning to forgive is a gift to yourself. Help people who are weak get up,help people who have lost hope in themselves see reason to be happy.Be the reason why someone will say,because of you i did not give up.Be an agent of a positive change,be the reason why someone will be happy,learn to put a smile on someones face daily,it sure helps to better their lives and yours. Some might tell you,i tried and failed,my dream was dashed,well tell the person to try again,telm him or her to dream another dream.He don't have to stay down bt he should get his grip and stand firm. What happened i your past is not nearly as important as what is in your future.
